Hello Everyone,

The Wellington Annual Meeting is coming up soon! The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at the Wellington Community Center. All residents should have received a “declaration of candidacy” form in the mail and the list of candidates for the positions on the board will be available shortly. There are two positions open on the Board, and many positions available on the committees.

If you or someone you know has an interest in helping with the newsletter, general communications, social events, landscaping, pool, finance, or any other area of expertise that may benefit the community, please email mainoffice@wellingtonca.org.

The Neighborhood Watch has been doing very well and if you are interested in joining, please contact Suzanne Seaberg at sseaberg@wellingtonca.org.

Wellington Needs Leaders!

Hello Residents,

  • Do you have your fingers on the pulse of our neighborhood?
  • Have you wondered about the “business” of Wellington?
  • Would you like to be a part of making improvements?
  • Are you willing to WORK to see these improvements through for the benefit of the entire Wellington Community?

Now is YOUR chance to make that positive difference. I invite you to become an involved part of the business of our Community. There are 2 open slots on the Wellington Board of Directors and we need candidates! If interested, please complete the Candidates application found in your October Defender or contact the Office at (703) 330-5019. The application deadline is October 23.

Generally, your time commitment is preparation for and attendance of one evening board meeting per month. Additional meetings or work sessions are scheduled on an “as needed” basis. Most communication is handled via email.
