Dear Friends and Neighbors of Wellington,
Many of you are aware of the recent results of the annual election, 2009 Board Election Results.
We have decided that it is in the best interest of the community to accept the one year extension of our terms. During this time, we will continue to serve Wellington using our experience on the Board and as active residents in our community to make decisions that will protect property values, promote the welfare of our community, and keep Wellington a pleasant place to live.
Our Community has a significant challenge to elect FIVE new members to our 7 member Board of Directors in November 2010. We will need candidates that are informed, pro-active, budgetary conscious, and willing to work toward solutions and progress. Please consider your commitment to our community now and your ability to represent it. To become more informed, attend the monthly Board of Directors meetings that are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7pm at the Community Center. You may present an issue or offer insight during Resident Forum, or simply observe. Listen to community, management, and committee reports to learn more about what is happening in Wellington and consider how you might be able to help our community.

A meeting of the Board of Directors was convened at the Wellington Community Center, located at 9700 Wellington Road, Manassas, VA, 20110.
PRESENT:
Board Members present: President Tim Wilson, Vice President Suzanne Seaberg, Jeri Burke, Frances Guastadisegni, Tyler Tedford, Carolyn Lightner and Michele Samoy. Wayne Ellis, General Manager who represented Legum & Norman was also in attendance.
