How do I get a pool pass?
To obtain a new pass you must present a valid Virginia Drivers license or Virginia State ID card showing your Wellington address. Children of school age must provide a copy of their most recent report card. Children over 16 will be able to show a Virginia drivers license or State ID card. All children 18 and under must be accompanied by a parent. Children’s pool passes will not be issued unless a parent is present. Children, 5 years of age or older, will need to have a picture taken and pass issued.
Initial passes for new individuals cost $5.00. Replacement passes for passes that are lost or stolen; mutilated or damaged cost $25.00 to replace. All payments must be by check or money order. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED
If your child has risen to another level, you will not be charged for the new badge provided the old badge is turned in.
If you have an electronic facilities pass (pool pass) issued after 2010, you do not need to do anything to obtain a new pass. The same pass will be used every year and will be valid as long as you are an owner in Wellington and are in good standing.
If you have lost or misplaced your pass, or your pass is damaged you will need to obtain a new pass. As stated above there is a $25.00 charge to replace a pass.
If you did not receive a pass in 2009 or 2010, and still need one, you can come by the office to have your picture taken and your pass issued. As stated above there is a $5.00 charge for initial passes.
Each household can receive one free guest pass per season. You may pick up your guest pass during office hours or during the special hours listed for pool passes. There are 25 free punches on the pass. If you need an additional guest pass, they can be purchased at the community center office, during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 am till 5 pm) the cost is $20.00. Please be advised that the office cannot accept cash. Payments must be by check or money order only.
If you are a renter in the Wellington community in addition to the above, your landlord will need to release his/her rights to the use of Wellington facilities before you will be able to obtain a pool pass to use the pool. Each year your landlord will need to forward a completed release form along with the current copy of your lease to the onsite office. If you are a Tenant and you were a member of the pool last year your pool pass has been put on hold pending receipt of this year’s paperwork from your landlord.
Pool memberships remain the property of the home owner. Assignment of facilities privileges, including pool passes, is at the owner’s discretion.
Whether you are an owner or a tenant, please remember, the governing documents require that assessments need to be paid to date (good standing) for you to be able to utilize the facilities and pool in Wellington.
Passes will not be issued to any resident or household whose assessments are not paid up to date. Access to the pool will be denied if your assessments are not paid to date.
We are pleased to announce that this year the pool is managed by Titan Pool Service.
