Proposed Telecommunications Facility

2018 is the year of construction in and around the community it seems.  Please direct your questions to the project manager or mark your calendar for the July 31 meeting at the Boys & Girls Club.

Proposed telecommunications facility at 9723 Dean Drive

Verizon Wireless has identified a gap in wireless coverage and capacity in your community. To address the coverage deficiencies, Verizon and Milestone Communications are exploring the possibility of installing a 134’ wireless telecommunications facility (monopole) at the City of Manassas Water Tank site (addressed 9723 Dean Drive, Manassas, VA 20110).

We have set up a project-specific website at www.DeanDriveWireless.comwith further details, photo simulations and an aerial location map. We will also be hosting an informational community meeting on July 31st in the multipurpose room (2nd floor) of the Manassas Boys & Girls Club (9501 Dean Park Lane, Manassas, VA 20110) at 7 P.M.

As part of our outreach, we have mailed over 1,000 postcard mailers to property owners in the vicinity of the proposed site. As your organization is involved in the community, we wanted to connect with you and request that you pass along this information to any interested persons or parties. Please contact me with any questions or comment about the project. I can be reached at matt@milestonecorp.com or 703 865-4697. —Matt Penning Project Manager

July 4th Pool Party Info

The pool party is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The pool will remain open until 6 p.m. weather permitting.

We will need 10 residents on the set up crew and 10 residents on the clean up crew. The two cabanas will be reserved for volunteers if they so choose to sit in one, however, volunteer slots are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please contact Lisa Mulloy at the office to sign up to volunteer. Please do not show up the day of the party expecting to get into the pool early if you are not on the volunteer list.

The lunch menu will be catered by The Bone and dessert will be Costco cake.

Wellington HOA residents who are in good standing may purchase up to 5 guest passes for the pool party at $8 each in the onsite office. Tickets must be purchased by July 2nd and picked up no later than July 3rd

Non-resident pool pass holders will be allowed in the pool at 2 p.m. based on occupancy. An email to non-resident pool pass owners will go out early this week so that they are aware. The pool/deck occupancy is 350 and we do keep count so that we do not have too many people inside the gated pool area for safety reasons. We do not want the fire marshall to shut our party down due to too many occupants.
