Santa will be visiting Wellington on December 23rd!

Each donation of 10 canned goods for SERVE received at our Wellington Community Center enters you into a raffle to win a ride with Santa through the entire Wellington community (two kids and one guardian 12/23/17) Velocity Wings located in Wellington Station (next to Giant) and Thai Tyme Restaurant located next to ReStore have donated numerous gift cards for other prizes as well🙂 Velocity Wings, Thai Tyme, Carmellos Manassas and BadWolf Public House (Old Town) gift cards will be among the gifts for those homes selected in the Christmas decorating contest as well. The deadline to enter your home is December 19th, 2018, Judging will take place on December 20th. You can enter by emailing your address to mainoffice@wellingtonca.org.

The community reports page is now password protected. Home Owners may email the office at mainoffice@wellingtonca.org  include full name along with property address to get the password. The 2018 budget has been uploaded.

Homewise which is listed on the reports page for document production is a system whereby an owner can have immediate on demand access to the bylaws, articles and declaration. One may also have the onsite office produce printed copies of the bylaws, articles and declaration according to the Association fee schedule adopted some years ago which is a nominal fee or a pdf attachment via email as well. Resolutions will uploaded to the reports page starting the week of 12/18/17 but are also free at homewise. The aforementioned is also stated at the reports page which is intended only for Wellington Community Association property owners. It does not contain Wellingto Condo Association documentation.

Board Meeting:

Approved replacement of basketball court at the community center (replacement of surface).

Approved concrete repairs at the community center.

Approved removal of 22 dead trees.

Reviewed three draft resolutions to the bylaws to restrict spending unless approved by three directors, amend the declaration to restrict how a Board can determine a common expense and term limits for Board members. These resolutions will be discussed by the Board  at the January Board meeting in open session.

Election winners of three year terms were Donnie Hollar and Michelle Childs.

Annual Meeting: Election results announced. Donnie Hollar and Michelle Childs won three year terms. **this was also announced during the regular meeting. There was no further business at the annual meeting.
