Labor Day Office Closure and Safety Reminders

Wellington Residents,

The Wellington office will be closed Monday, September 2, 2019, in observance of Labor Day.  The pool will be open until 8pm. Labor Day is the last day the pool will be open this season.

As we transition into the school year, we would also like to take this opportunity to remind residents and their guests to drive slowly and carefully through the community, be mindful of children, and follow the law by stopping appropriately for school buses.   Thank you!

August 13 – Lilies and Other Plants Available at Monument Signs and Clubhouse Entrance

Homeowners and Residents – Wellington Community Association is in the process of designing and revamping its entrance monuments and clubhouse area.  Our grounds maintenance contractor will be removing the lilies and other plants that are in good condition from the monument signs and tree area in front of the clubhouse. They will be removing the plants with bulbs/roots intact as applicable.

The lilies and other plants will be placed behind the monument signs and at the clubhouse area and are available for free to any resident or owner that would like to use them on their personal lot or home.  Unfortunately, we do not have exact information on the plant varieties, as they were installed under a previous Board. If you would like to pickup any plants/flowers, stop by any one of the entrance monuments, or the clubhouse, from August 13th-August 15th, 2019. The sooner the plants are picked up, the higher their chance of survival if replanted. All plants are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you have any questions, please contact the office.

Thank you!

Please be advised that owners and residents are prohibited from driving on the new asphalt today, and as long as the cones remain up. The new asphalt is currently too hot to be driven on without sustaining major damage, and some of the striping is still in progress. The newly paved portion of Magnolia Grove will be open at approximately 7am tomorrow, 8/1/2019. Brothers Paving was able to complete about half of the street today, Wednesday 7/31/19, and will finish the project, including the speedbumps tomorrow, 8/1/19 and Friday, 8/2/19, weather permitting.
