Architectural Review Committee Vacancies

The Wellington Board of Directors is seeking volunteers to fill two vacancies on the Architectural Review Committee. These will be one-year terms.

The Architectural Review/Covenants  Committee is tasked with; the monthly review of architectural change requests from owners, and insuring the compliance of the Wellington Community Design Standards and Guidelines.

Committee members are appointed yearly by the Board of Directors and are under the direction of the ARC Chairperson.

Persons interested in serving on the committee can contact the management office for details.

Completed applications should be returned to the onsite office, or emailed to lmulloy@wellingtonca.org.

The deadline for applications is January 10, 2019  .

Interested parties are encouraged to attend the January  Board of Directors Meeting on January 15th at 6:30 pm. All meetings are held in the Wellington Community Center. Appointment to the committee will be made at the January 15th, 2019  Board of Directors meeting.

January 2, 2019 ~ 5:30pm

BoD Meeting Purpose: The primary purpose of this Board Meeting is to discuss the spending in 2017 and 2018 and to make decisions related to both past and future spending. We expect in-depth discussions to occur between directors and staff.  During this working session, Homeowners are welcome to attend to increase their understanding and involvement of the community but will be unable to comment.

As Homeowner discussion during the meeting is not be possible due to time, members are given the opportunity to address the BoD in writing if they wish to discuss concerns in-depth. Respectful Communication: Diverse members, directors, and staff make us a strong Community. We welcome diversity of opinion and assume best intentions when listening to each other – we all want what is best for Wellington.

Columbia Gas Project Update

Pipe installation and restoration in front of club house to Hendley Rd will take place in the next 12 or so days.
Winter wheat grass seed will be planted along Wellington to prevent any erosion.
Asphalt work along the walking trail and in the clubhouse parking lot will begin Monday.
Fence work surrounding the regulator (Clover Hill Rd entrance to pool) will begin in late January.
